1970 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The 1967-72 C/K series pickup trucks and SUVs are one of the most coveted trucks in America. Unlike their peers, they can be used as daily drivers today without hesitation. The K5 Blazer quickly became an incredibly popular short wheel base 4x4 option within this series also offering increased interior space.

This K5 Blazer has been refurbished by Blacksmith Garage including a professional grade paint job. Everything was gone through and sorted to provide the buyer with off road and/or daily driver enjoyment.

ENGINE:

The 383 stroker motor starts easily and runs perfectly. The motor is fitted with an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold, Edelbrock model 1825 650 cfm 4bbl carburetor and Edelbrock air cleaner, valve covers and long tube headers.

DRIVETRAIN:

The engine is mated to a TH350 transmission and NP205 transfer case. The front axles are Dana 44’s with GM 8.875 rear axles and 3.07:1 gear ratio. The New American Racing Baja Black AR172 wheels are alloy fitted with Cooper Discovery 33 x 12.50 R15 tires.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

The engine compartment has been painted black and looks nice and clean.

CHASSIS:

The chassis is in excellent condition with no rust.

EXTERIOR:

Upon our purchase of this Blazer we identified that there were zero rust issues and then we had the body prepped, primed, sanded and painted 1970 Chevrolet Orange. The paint is excellent and is like new. Chrome is bright and new K5 Blazer decals and side lights have been installed. The black removable hardtop has no cracks and fits perfectly to the Blazer.

INTERIOR:

The inside is lined with new black carpet and rubber floor liner underneath the carpet throughout. The black vinyl seats are in great condition with no rips or tears. The dash was painted to match the exterior and the black dash pad and steering wheel are in excellent shape along with new door panels and rear side panels.

This Blazer is an excellent truck that you will be proud to drive around town or on an excursion up in the mountains.
