1970 HUSQVARNA 400

Steve McQueen purchased this bike new in 1970 from Edison Dye the ‘Father of American Motocross’ and first importer of Husqvarna motorcycles. The bike is in excellent frame off restored condition and has never been ridden since restoration.

Bengt Aberg raced the 400 cross to win the 1969 and 1970 500cc World Championships. The bike offered precise handling and incredible horsepower making it an incredible motocross bike. The bike features a 396cc air-cooled engine with a 4-speed gearbox.
